What a Year! 06/22/2011
As many of you know this was my first year serving as PTO President, and what a year it has been. This experience has been full of learning (lot's of learning), success and love. Yes, the love for all the children that we work so hard for through out the year! From the smiles at "trunk or treat" to the rumbles in the hallway about who will win the next pizza party for collecting the most boxtops! Watching all the cookies that came in from the children and their families baking was priceless, and one of my fondest moments was our first Family Fitness Night. We had over 40 children and there families come out that evening to get moving and have fun while being active and eating healthy. Watching the funds raised through out the year truly enrich our children's education through field trips and other activities has been priceless. We have worked hard, laughed a lot and yes, shed a few tears but it has all been worth it. It has been a pleasure working with the group of ladies that I did: Bonnie, Sandy and Sue- Thank You! Making the transition to ultimatly a new board with only one veteran member is hard work! We look forward to taking many lesson's and experiences forward with us into the next year. 2 Comments First Post! 09/23/2009
